Since 1801, Messiah Lutheran has served in the Juniata County community as a ministry of Jesus Christ. We continue this work today by challenging each other to reach out to the world with God’s love. Our MISSION is to proclaim, to the community and the world, God’s love revealed through Jesus Christ. We also reaffirm that his people are called, gathered, enlightened, sanctified and sustained by th

e Holy Spirit through Word and Sacrament. Messiah is a congregation of the Upper Susquehanna Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Children's Sunday School and adult bible study are held each Sunday beginning at 9:15 a.m. Our worship service follows Sunday School at 10:30 a.m., as well as the weekly serving of our Lord's Supper and Junior Church for our youngsters.
