WEEKLY PRAYER EMPHASIS: Thank you to the Mifflinburg School District office staff for always being so friendly and welcoming when I unload a pile of stuff on them:). Especially want to thank Stacy, Tori, Chris, Caitlin, Mr. Hunsburger, Mandy & Kaitlin.
This week we're asking the church to pray for the Mifflinburg School Staff (Office, teachers, cafeteria, maintenance, security). Some points of prayer:
- Several new mothers in the district (Congratulations!)
- Several people with medical struggles.
-Safety/security
-That they'd all know the love of Jesus Christ.
If you see school staff this week, make sure you thank them!

This week is Missions Sunday! Our church supports 13 missionaries/missions organizations on a monthly basis and our youth sponsor a child in Uganda through Haven of Hope (we love Nathan!). Your faithful giving helps us share the gospel throughout the world.
If you want to give towards them please designate "missions" on your offering envelope and place in one of the black boxes in the back of the sanctuary.

WEEKLY PRAYER EMPHASIS: This week we're asking the church to pray for the Mifflinburg mail carriers. Pray for their safety, blessing, and that they would all know that God loves them! They were kind enough to let us stop by, give them some snacks for employees, and pray for them. If you see one of them this week be sure to wave and say "God bless you!":)

(Sermon 8/23/26) Karma looks at someone struggling and says, "They must have done something to deserve it." Christians look at suffering and shouldn't care who's to blame, we just want to alleviate the suffering.

SERMON SLICE: "Sometimes the wicked prosper and the righteous suffer." (Sermon 8/23/26). Don't assume you've done something wrong, just because you're going through struggles. 1 Peter 3:17 says that sometimes we suffer for doing GOOD...But...we also shouldn't assume that we're right with God just because things are going well, either.
