When you walk through the doors of St. Matthias, you will discover an amazing place! There is a spirit here that is indescribable, exciting, and joy filled! You will be genuinely and warmly welcomed. (We even have a special gift for those who are with us for the first time…shh..it’s a surprise!)

What you will find as you enter the doors is a spirit of love, fellowship

, and a desire to serve- to make a real difference in our community. Matthias, we don’t just want to go to church, we also want to BE the church! This is because we believe that God’s Mission has a church known as St. We seek to be faithful in making that Mission possible. We believe that every individual is a beloved child of God, unique in his or her talents and ministry- and that together we are the Body of Christ. Each and every member is valued, respected, and needed. We mean it when we say, “ALL are welcome”. We are deeply committed to continuing Christian Formation for all ages as well as to ministry in our community and the Diocese with service opportunities that are open to a variety of interests. In addition to these ministries, we celebrate the beauty, gifts, and life that God has given us. Several times a year, you can join in the fun and wonder as you bring your pet to be blessed, search for surprises with your children at the Easter Egg Hunt, or savor the beautiful music our Cultural Arts program offers. Our Youth Group is so much fun that our teens even come to church on a school snow day to hang out, enjoy each other’s company and eat pizza! We hope you will feel welcome to join us, worship with us, serve with us, and share your passion for ministry with us! We believe you will find that there is something here for everyone.
