Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest is launching a friendly challenge between our Phoenix and Tucson Board members to provide grocery gift cards for clients who recently lost access to Arizona SNAP benefits. Your gift helps families facing food insecurity purchase the food they need most. Please select the Board member who referred you, so your donation counts toward their team’s total. Many of you are aware the air conditioner for classrooms five through ten of the school campus failed. It was the original air conditioner installed when the rooms were built, but because of its age parts are no longer available and the A/C unit cannot be repaired. Property management received bids from different companies, and the most cost-effective cooling method is to install mini-splits in each of the classrooms. We are asking for your help in funding this unexpected expense and thank all who have already so generously donated!

We are happy to announce that the new unit was installed in rooms 9 and 10 this week! This will allow Noah's Ark and other groups to resume using that space, including our BLC youth as FUSE starts back up soon! We will be adding mini splits into the final two classrooms as funds come in. Please prayerfully consider giving to this much needed repair project.
