Today we begin our sermon series in the Book of Daniel: Enduring Faith in Adversity - "When the World Presses In."

The book of Daniel begins with loss, pressure and exile. Jerusalem has fallen, God’s people have been carried into Babylon and everything appears to suggest that the kingdoms of this world are winning. As you read Daniel 1:1-21 today, reflect on this question: Where might the world around me be quietly shaping my identity more than the Kingdom of God?

Via's Sunday services are at 9am and 10:45am. We have a lot happening in the next couple of months and we want to share it all with you. See you at church!

Sunday, May 24: Luke – Getting To Know Jesus
Luke 24:1–53 – The Road To Faith
The resurrection of Jesus is not simply the ending of Luke’s Gospel. It is the beginning of new creation, new hope and a new way of seeing the world. In Luke 24, fearful and confused disciples slowly begin to discover that Jesus is alive and still drawing near to His people. As you read Luke 24:1–53 before service, reflect on this question: Where might Jesus be inviting me to recognize His presence and live with renewed hope today?

Come worship together! We will see you at 9am and 10:45am!
It's all about Jesus!

Good Sunday Morning to you!
Today we will be in Luke, chapter 23 with a sermon called, "Jesus Loved to His Death."

As Jesus moves toward the cross, we see the heart of our Savior revealed with stunning clarity. In suffering, rejection and death, Jesus continues to move toward sinners with mercy, forgiveness and love. As you read through this chapter in Luke, reflect on this question: Where might Jesus be inviting me to trust His love more deeply and remain near Him even in weakness, confusion or suffering?

Don't miss this opportunity to gather with others with like-mindedness in "Getting To Know Jesus." We'll see you at church at 9am or 10:45am!
