🙌 Who’s ready for Week 2 of the TRC Summer Challenge?!

Week 1 was incredible! We loved seeing so many of you intentionally spending time with God and encouraging one another throughout the week. Seeing your Bible photos fill the comments was such a blessing!

This Sunday, Pastor J walked us through the book of Zephaniah. While much of the book speaks of God’s judgment and the call to repentance, it doesn’t end there. It ends with hope. God did not abandon His people. He promised to restore them and remain faithful to them. The same God who was faithful then is the same God who is faithful today.

So this week’s challenge is simple:

📸 This week, keep your eyes open for reminders of God’s faithfulness. When you find one, capture it and share it in the comments.

It might be a sunrise, your Bible, your family around the dinner table, a quiet morning, a beautiful creation, or simply an ordinary moment that reminds you God is still at work.

Share one photo or twenty throughout the week. There’s no limit! No explanation is necessary. Let the pictures speak for themselves.

Our hope is that by the end of the week, this comment section will become a beautiful collection of reminders that God is faithful and an encouragement to everyone who sees it.

You never know which photo might be the reminder someone else needed this week. ❤️

🎣✨ This morning in , we learned what it means to be Fishers of Men! ✨🎣

Jesus called His disciples to follow Him and help others know God's love. We talked about how each of us has a mission field right where God has placed us—at home, at school, on the ball field, and in our community.

Our prayer is that every child will be a light for Jesus, sharing His love through their words, actions, and kindness wherever they go. 💡❤️

"Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." — Matthew 5:16

☀️ TRC Summer Challenge is back! ☀️

Pastor J has been reminding us over the last few weeks that champions aren’t made on game day. They’re made in the offseason. The work that no one sees is what prepares you for the moments that everyone does.

The same is true for our relationship with God.

Summer is often our “offseason.” Schedules get busy, vacations happen, and routines change. But our relationship with God shouldn’t take the summer off. In fact, this is the perfect time to grow deeper.

So we’re bringing back the TRC Summer Challenge!

Week 1: Make Time
Your challenge is simple:

Spend 10 intentional minutes with God for 5 days this week. Read your Bible, pray, worship, journal, or simply sit quietly and spend time with Him. The goal isn’t to check a box. It’s to intentionally invest in your relationship with God.

✅ Every day you complete your 10 minutes, come back to this post and comment “Done!”

Every completed weekly challenge earns you one entry into our end-of-summer drawing. At the end of the summer, three names will be drawn to receive TRC merch credit!

Let’s encourage one another, stay committed through the offseason, and see what God can do when we intentionally make time for Him this summer.

Let’s lock in. ❤️☀️

This morning in , we learned about the Wise and Foolish Builders! 🏠🌧️

Jesus taught that when we hear God's Word and put it into practice, we're like the wise builder who built his house on the rock. No matter what storms come, a strong foundation in Christ will stand firm!

What a great reminder for our kids that the best foundation for life is Jesus! ❤️🪨

TRC Family,

Tomorrow is your last opportunity to write a prayer, Scripture, name, or message on the metal beams of our new building before the sheetrock goes up.

Last Sunday was such a special moment as we watched people of all ages take time to leave their mark on this building. Some wrote Scriptures, some wrote prayers, and some simply wrote their names as a reminder that they were part of this season in the life of our church.

If you haven’t had a chance to participate yet, we would love for you to be a part of it.

Markers will be available before and after both services tomorrow at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. ❤️

One of our favorite parts of VBS Summer Camp 2026 was seeing our Outreach Group put their faith into action.

Throughout the week, these students worked together to assemble outreach bags filled with hygiene items, pet care supplies, and other essentials that were donated by our amazing TRC family. Today, those bags were delivered throughout our community and beyond!

Thanks to your generosity, supplies were donated to:
• The Women’s Shelter in DeRidder
• DeRidder Retirement & Rehab
• The Humane Society of West Louisiana
• Merryville Police Department
• Shady Acres Nursing Home in Newton, Texas

We are so proud of these students for serving others with such willing hearts, and we are incredibly thankful for every person who donated items to make this outreach project possible.

What started as a simple collection of donated supplies became an opportunity to show the love of Jesus to people in our communities. Thank you, TRC family, for helping us make an impact beyond the walls of our church.

❤️ “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” – 1 John 3:18
