Families everywhere are under the attack of satan. The devil hates families and will do whatever he can to try and tear them apart. We must become more aware of his attacks and go to war for our families. We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Father we come to You, the author and finisher of our faith. Lord we ask that You would help us to withstand the wiles of the devil. Lord we are in a battle for our families and we look to You for victory. We stand united against the enemy. Cover our families and be a hedge of protection all around. Just as You were with the Israelites and gave them victory, we ask You to be with us and to give us the victory over the enemy. Father be the glue that holds us together. Lord restore peace, love and heal hearts so families which were torn apart can be reunited. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

How many times have you gotten angry at work but still got up and went back the next day? Have you ever gotten your feelings hurt at work? Did you walk away or go back the next day? Many times we stop attending church because we got angry with someone or they hurt our feelings. We use Church Hurt as an excuse not to attend worship. We stop attending Church but we don’t stop going to work when the same things happen to us. Only what you do for Christ shall last! Your secular job won’t matter in Heaven! Father help me realize that I am only using “Church Hurt” as an excuse not to go to Church. Help me to understand that I go to worship You and to learn more about You when I attend weekly services. It’s not about me or them but all about You! You deserve my praise. Help me to forgive others as You forgive me. I will no longer make excuses for not attending Worship Service. Please forgive me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

God has carried us through many hard times and trials. He has carried us over mountains and rivers. He has carried us through valleys and tribulations. He has replaced our shame with honor and given us beauty for ashes. When we look back over our lives we can see that we made it this far because God was carrying us. Because He has carried us in the past we have an assurance that He will carry us all the way. We are never alone. Father thank You for carrying me. Thank You for getting in fiery furnace with me no matter how hot the flames were. Thank You for carrying me over the mountains no matter how high they are. Thank You for carrying me through the valleys no matter how low they are, even when it was my own fault. Thank You for always having mercy upon me and never leaving me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Lust is not love! Your flesh does not care about your purpose. In fact your flesh will set you up to be discredited. Your flesh seeks pleasure at all costs and will lead you down the path of destruction. Lust of the eyes leads to lust of the heart and on to lust of the flesh. Giving in to lust; separates you from God. Father forgive me for giving into the desires of my flesh. Help me to resist the temptation to sin. Purge me of the desires to please my flesh. Help me to not fall for the trap of lust! In Jesus name I pray, Amen

It’s so easy to sin because we think no one will know. We feel as if we can sin in secret and not be found out. This is impossible! God sees and knows everything. The Holy Spirit who lives in You is with you everywhere you go! Would you take Jesus with you to commit adultery? Would you take Jesus with you to steal? Before you answer no, remember He and the Holy Spirit are the same person. There is no such thing as a secret sin! Father help me to understand that I cannot hide my wrongdoing. Help me to feel so uncomfortable committing sin that I choose to do what is right instead. Father forgive me for all the times I sinned in Your presence and thought I was doing it in secret. Deliver me from the temptation to sin. Help me to resist the devil and the urge to do what’s wrong. Father deliver me from the desire to please my flesh. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Are you truly free today? Free from worry? Free from doubt? Free from fear? If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are past away! Yesterday with all of its trials and tribulations is gone. Today is a new day and we should not dwell in the past. Embrace each new day with joy and expectancy! Trust that God is Jehovah Jireh, and He shall provide all that we need. Father thank You for another blessed day. I believe that anything that challenges me today is already taken care of by You. I trust You with my whole heart. I resist the temptation to worry and be afraid. I stand on Your promises and know that I shall be victorious! I am free praise the Lord, Hallelujah I’m free. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Marriage is honorable. Marriage was established by God. When you stand and repeat your vows they are not just between you and your spouse. They are between you, your spouse and God! Don’t let anyone convince you that it’s just a piece of paper. Many people continue to live as if they are single after they get married; this is a recipe for disaster! God will hold you accountable for not upholding your vows. Father help me to honor You by honoring the vows I took when I married my spouse. Help me to love, honor and cherish them. Help me to forgive them and show them grace. Help me to respect them and our marriage. When I feel discontent, help me to run to You in prayer and not someone outside of my marriage. Father be the cord that binds us together until death we part. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Some of us have been in survival mode so long we have forgotten how to let go and let God have His way in our lives. Even when there is no crisis and things are peaceful we still can’t relax and enjoy the moment. Staying in survival mode too long creates anxiety and restlessness in our hearts and minds. We are always waiting for the next problem to arise. Living in survival mode is not the abundant life promised by God. You’re surviving; not living! Father help me to put the car in park and to hand you the keys! Help me to trust you with every area of my life and not to try to figure things out on my own. Teach me how to let You have complete control of my life. I want to live a life full of joy, peace and love. Help me to let You have Your Way in my life! In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

To be a "new creation in Christ" means your past spiritual death has passed, and you have been reborn by the grace of God. It is a profound inner transformation where your old desires are replaced by His love, and you are empowered to live a completely new, holy life. You are empowered to live a healed and delivered life filled with joy and hope. Don’t pass down your childhood trauma to your children and grandchildren. Pass down your faith in Christ. The hurt of your past no longer rules your life. Jesus is now at the helm. Father help me to let go and allow You to heal my heart and mind from past hurt and betrayal. Help me to understand that I am a new creation now and my old way of thinking, feeling, and doing are over. I choose to give my children and grandchildren a better life by sharing my faith in You with them. Teach how to share the good news of the gospel with them. Help me to live a life that edifies You in front of them. Help me to press forward towards the mark which is Christ Jesus and not reach back for what is familiar. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
