What a complicated topic! Flipping on a light switch sounds very simple and easy; yet that one action may require all the strength we can muster in order to tap into the life-giving, sustaining STRENGTH of God. Lamenting is unabashedly a huge part of the process, like regurgitating all the sorrow which has found refuge in our souls, much like lancing a boil so healing can begin. May we learn a lesson from the friends of Job, who sat with him but couldn’t resist the temptation to preach a little. Sometimes all the suffering, despondent person needs is someone to sit quietly with them. Oh, may we become so entrenched in The Word that even in times of despondency, we can remember that God is our LIGHT!🙏🏻❤️💡

The Helping Hands Lawn Care Group had 8 show up and work extremely collaboratively together so that we were able to finish a HUGE lawn project by noon! I failed to get Chuck Schroyer in the pictures.🤨
