Romans 7:19 points out how Paul struggled with this concept! We all do. This devotional lays out simply and to the point the advantages of avoiding sin. It’s logical…but humanity is fallen. Guilt is a HEAVY moral emotion to experience. Who would choose to? Oh, the foibles of free will! I’ve read and reread the last paragraph about counting the cost and just wrote it on a sticky note to add to the collection on my bathroom mirror. “Count the cost” is my new mantra! Help me, Holy Spirit!🙏🏻❤️
