This year’s Homecoming is EXTRA special as it will be the final Homecoming with Mother Luella Williams serving as our Homecoming Chairlady before she passes the baton. ❤️ We want to make this a Homecoming she’ll never forget!

Thousands of Greater Memphis residents remain without power following severe straight-line winds that caused extensive damage and widespread outages.

Citadel of Deliverance Church of God in Christ is opening its doors to serve the community.

If your home is without power or air conditioning, come inside, cool off, and find relief from the heat.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM OUR PASTOR

Due to the storm that came through our area, all services for today have been canceled. Our church is currently without power, and unfortunately, several of our members are also experiencing power outages.

We have made the decision to postpone our Women’s Day Service to a later date. We will share the new date as soon as it has been confirmed.

We are praying for a quick restoration of power for everyone affected throughout Memphis and the surrounding areas. We are also praying for those impacted by fallen trees, downed power lines, and other damage caused by the storm.

With the extreme heat, please stay cool, stay safe, and check on your family, friends, neighbors, and loved ones to make sure they are okay.

Please continue to keep everyone impacted by the storm in your prayers. 🙏🏾❤️

It is with profound sadness that we announce the transition of Ms. Alberta Brown, granddaughter of the late Elder George Dodd, our founding pastor.

A Memorial Service honoring her life will be held at South Parkway Church on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 11:30 AM.

Please keep the Brown family lifted in prayer during this time of bereavement. May God continue to provide them with strength, comfort, and peace. 🙏🏾
