Community Bible Church is a multi-ethnic congregation of believers that is embracing its city. The church believes in mission work, but its primary mission field is home -- Memphis, Tennessee. CBC moved into the heart of Memphis in June 2006 and now resides in what was once Speedway Terrace Baptist Church. The “new” building at 601 North Bellevue was a gift to CBC, and Pastor Jim Rowland sees tha

t gift as an affirmative answer to all that God has called this church to do in and for Memphis. Our purpose statement is “to reach, to win, to train, to send,” and our goal is to do just that from the inside out -- from the heart of the city with a vision for the world! Join us Sunday for Bible Study at 9:30 am or for our Sunday morning service which starts at 10:45 am. Also join us for Prayer Meeting on Wednesday nights starting at 6:30 pm. During all of our services we have activities for children and youth!

We are so thankful for every person who faithfully serves in the many ministries at CBC, and we’re equally thankful for every person who walks through our doors each week. You are an important part of what makes our church family so special! ❤️

There is a place for YOU here! Whether you’re serving behind the scenes, welcoming someone at the door, teaching, caring for kids, or simply showing up and worshiping with us—every person matters.

When we all say yes and serve together, something beautiful happens. Church becomes more than a building; it becomes a family. 🙌🏽🙌🏻
