Thank you!
Healing Centers in the Heart of the neighborhood I’m raising funds to launch 24/7 Healing Centers right in the middle of our most broken neighborhoods. These centers will be safe, Christ-centered places where kids and families can come anytime they need help not just on Sundays.Too many children are hungry, struggling with homework, dealing with trauma, or just needing someone to listen while the church doors are closed. Our Healing Centers will be open around the clock for hot meals, a quiet place to study, mentoring, prayer, and learning about Jesus. My vision is to buy empty lots and abandoned houses, fix them up, and turn them into lights in the dark places where kids can be loved, fed, tutored, mentored, and taught life skills instead of being pulled into the streets. These Healing Centers will help kids get out of gangs, reduce drug dealing in the neighborhood, and give them a real alternative to street life. We’ll also care for the neighborhood itself through a lawn care and cleanup program cutting grass, picking up trash, and helping neighbors keep their homes and yards looking good. People who come through the Healing Centers will learn basic skills like mowing and simple painting, so they can help maintain the houses we restore and the blocks they live on. Every bag of popcorn you buy helps us open these Healing Centers in the neighborhoods that need them most.

Our group is having a fundraiser and you can help!

United in Faith: The Joshua Project Outreach
Tonight at 6 p.m., I had the honor of taking Walk By Faith Outreach Street Ministry Incorporated the ministry God has entrusted me to pastor out into the community. We were invited by Holy Grounds Church, along with several other ministries, to join The Joshua Project outreach. In the first picture, you can see people lined up under the big white tents, receiving hot food, prayer, and racks full of free clothing as we worked together to meet both spiritual and practical needs. The second picture shows my Joshua Project badge hanging on my chest a reminder that this work is bigger than any one church or title. It’s about walking by faith and carrying the love of Jesus into the streets. The last picture captures the evening fellowship: pastors, ministers, and volunteers from different churches standing together, talking, praying, and serving side by side as the outreach continued under the night sky.We prayed for one another and for everyone who asked those battling sickness, brokenness, addiction, and lack. We fed people, clothed them, listened to their stories, and reminded them that God sees them and cares deeply. City leaders, including the mayor of Bartlett, Tennessee, and the chief of police, were present and supportive, showing what happens when churches and community leaders unite for the good of the people. My heart especially for the Black community is that this kind of unity would become our everyday reality, not just a special event. Too often, you find four churches on the same block, yet not one pastor fellowships with the others. Something is deeply wrong with that picture. When our people are sick, hungry, and broke, and the only ones they feel they can depend on are drug dealers and gangs, that’s a spiritual tragedy and a failure of the Church. As the pastor of Walk By Faith Outreach Street Ministry Incorporated, I’m committed to changing that narrative taking church beyond the four walls, onto the pavement, and into people’s lives. My prayer is that tonight’s experience with Holy Grounds Church and the other ministries will spread across every neighborhood: pastors of every background fellowshipping, churches uniting, and communities learning once again that they can trust the pastor and the church more than the streets.

This picture means a lot to me because my wife created it to capture my heart for ministry and the streets. 💙God has brought me a long way, and now I get to walk these streets with a Bible in my hand, worn-out shoes in the other, and love for “the least of these” in my heart. From corners to kids, from jail cells to living rooms, I just want to show up where people feel forgotten and remind them that Jesus still sees them. ✝️👟🕊️ # fyp RoTonya Matthews Edwards

Good Morning! ☀️ Remember, God loves you deeply and I love you too. 💖 Teaching what the Bible truly says is so important because if we teach something else, we are teaching falsehood. The Bible warns us that false teaching leads people away from the truth and can cause spiritual harm. 😔 It is dangerous to teach anything that does not come straight from God's Word because it can mislead others and bring judgment on those who teach it (Matthew 7:21-23; 2 Peter 2:1-3). 📖So let's commit to holding fast to the Bible's teachings and proclaiming God’s truth clearly. 🙏 Teaching the real Word of God builds faith and leads to salvation, while false teaching breaks faith and brings destruction. Stay grounded in the Bible our true guide for life and faith. 🙌Remember, God's Word is our light and our foundation. May you be blessed, protected, and filled with His wisdom today and every day. ✨God bless you!

Today's message: Many Christians act like being saved means being perfect, but that's not the truth. Why do so many preach what not to do but rarely admit their own struggles? It's often because they're afraid of losing what they have. Sometimes, people use the title “Christian” for power and walk around judging and criticizing, as if they never mess up themselves. 😔One big reason young people don’t listen or come to church is because they see through the act. They notice when we aren’t real about where we fall short, and when we pretend to have it all together, they feel judged instead of loved. Many are ashamed to admit their struggles as Christians, even though they were quick to share mistakes before they knew Christ. ☝️The difference is, folks in the world will be honest about what they did yesterday, what they smoked, and what they drank. The world creates a space where people can be themselves, flaws and all, while sometimes we in the church act like everything is perfect once we get saved. But that’s not what Christ calls us to! 🌍🙏But what does the Bible say?
The Bible tells us there is no such thing as a perfect Christian. “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) Only Jesus was perfect! Our walk is about being honest, humble, and letting God perfect us day by day—not pretending we’ve arrived. 📖The Bible also says, "The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy." (Proverbs 12:22) It’s not just about looking perfect—God wants truth! 🚫🤥Even Mary Magdalene made mistakes while she walked with Jesus, and so did Peter, who denied Jesus three times but was still used mightily by God. King David sinned, but he repented and chased after God's heart. Being a Christian means being real: we need God because we still have flesh, and we all fall short sometimes. ❤️‍🩹Let’s stop filling people’s heads with the lie that becoming a Christian makes you perfect or that you won’t need help or make mistakes. Instead, let’s walk together in truth, grace, and honesty!God loves you, and I love you too! ❤️—Pastor Daran Edwards Sr

Good morning, good morning, everybody! ☀️🙌 Remember, God loves you, and I love you too! ❤️As Christians, fighting temptation can be tough, and many times, we struggle with the same sin over and over again 🤔🙏. We are not alone—God gives us strength, but He also calls us to help and support each other. We need our brothers and sisters in faith to walk beside us, encourage us, and hold us accountable. Trying to do it all alone makes the battle harder, but together, we stand strong! 💪🫂The key to overcoming is staying prayerful, leaning on God, and keeping His Word close to our hearts 🙏💖📖. God is faithful, and with Him—and with each other—we can conquer every temptation!Scripture for today:
“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”
—1 Corinthians 10:13 ✝️Remember, we are called to be our brother’s keeper. The Bible teaches us: “Carry each other's burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2) 🤝Let’s keep lifting each other up, building that support team, and trusting God to help us conquer every temptation!Pastor Daran Edwards Sr

Good morning, my beautiful people! ☀️ God loves you and I love you, too! ❤️🕊️

Monday Grace

What if today wasn't about what you do, but about what has already been done for you?

Sometimes, we approach Monday feeling the weight of the week's to-do list, believing our value comes from our work or effort. But that's not how God sees it.

The Bible says in Ephesians 2:8-9, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast."

Today, you don't have to earn your worth. Your value is found in the grace of God, which is a free gift. As you go about your day, let go of the pressure to be perfect. Rest in the peace that you are loved, not for what you do, but for who you are in Him.

Let's pray:
Father, thank You for the grace You have given us. Help us to walk in the freedom of knowing we are saved by Your love and not by our works. As we begin this week, let us rest in Your goodness. Amen.

Good morning, good morning, my beautiful people! ☀️ Remember, God loves you and I love you too! ❤️🕊️

Good morning to the birds, who wake up every day with no plans for their food, but sing anyway because they trust that their Father will provide.

In Matthew 6:26, the Bible says, “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them Are you not much more valuable than they?”

Today, you don't need to carry the weight of worry or the burden of what's to come. Your heavenly Father sees you and knows what you need. He is committed to providing for you just as He cares for every little bird. He is faithful, and His provision is new every morning.

Let's live with that same peace today.

Let’s pray:
Father, we thank you for the gift of this beautiful morning. Thank you for your unfailing provision and for showing us how much we are worth to you. Help us to release our worries and trust that you will take care of us. Amen.
