A spiritually immature person lives in what was. They dwell on old pain, past sins, and former failures. A spiritually mature person learns from those experiences but chooses to move forward. Maturity is embracing the truth that you are no longer the person you once were—you are a work in progress, being shaped by God each day into the person He created you to be.
