The Reality of the Resurrection. Luke 24:13-35 KJV. Today is Resurrection Sunday. The reality of the event captures the fact that Jesus Christ was crucified, buried, and on the third day morning, He got up from the grave. Saints everywhere must always keep the zeal of this moment relevant.

How would you explain Christ's resurrection to a sinner? I love the approach Dr. Luke provides in a clear and concise resurrection presentation. When we look at verses Luke 24:13-35 KJV. Luke details the account of two men who were traveling from Jerusalem to the village of Emmaus, a seven and a half miles journey.

Their conversation was filled with grief and the loss of hope for a new order in the spiritual and secular world. When Jesus comes along and joins in the conversation He provides the details from scripture on the necessity of the crucifixion. After revealing himself through the breaking of bread, their hope and joy were renewed.

As we celebrate this day, let the people of God always remember our hope, peace, joy, and salvation rest in the fact that Jesus rose from the grave and remains alive today.

Come one come all to LITS first VBS. We will learn about Jesus Christ from the book of Matthew chapter 5. There will be food, fun, and most of all fellowship.
