We have two beloved priests from our parish family who will soon begin new chapters of ministry. As we celebrate these moments of transition, we give thanks to God for the gift of their vocations, their faithful service, and the many ways they have shepherded our communities with compassion and devotion.

Please join us for a reception after Mass in the Gathering Space, where we will gather as one family of faith to offer our prayers, gratitude, and heartfelt good wishes.

🌹 Join Pope Leo XIV in Praying the Rosary for Peace 🌍

This Saturday, May 30, Pope Leo XIV will lead a worldwide Rosary for Peace from the Lourdes Grotto in the Vatican Gardens at 7:00 PM Rome time. Catholics across the globe are invited to unite in prayer as shrines from countries including Ukraine, Portugal, France, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lebanon, the Philippines, and the United States join simultaneously via livestream.

Each decade of the Joyful Mysteries will be offered for those suffering from the effects of war and violence — from victims and families torn apart, to medical workers, prisoners, and all who long for peace.

🙏 Let us come together as one family of faith.
In a world wounded by conflict, this is our moment to lift our voices and hearts to Mary, Queen of Peace, entrusting the world to her loving intercession.

📿 Join the Rosary. Pray for peace. Invite a friend.
Let every bead carry hope. Let every prayer build peace.

✨ Parishioners, you’re invited! ✨

Join us at our sister parish St. Alfred Catholic Church Taylor, Michigan for a powerful evening of praise and worship as we come together to deepen our faith and renew our love for Christ in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

Rooted in the words of 2 John — “let us love one another… walk according to his commandments” — this special gathering invites us to rediscover the Eucharist as the very heart of our Christian walk.

Saturday, May 30
7:00-9:00pm

We are truly blest to welcome Deacon Lizandro Barba, who will preach and guide us in reflection as we answer the ancient call to love, obedience, and communion with our Lord.

Come, pray, worship, and be renewed in His presence.
All are welcome — bring a friend and share the blessing!

✨ Message of the Day ✨
“They were all filled with the Holy Spirit.”

In the quiet beauty of creation—mountains standing firm, waters resting in peace, and every living creature finding its place—God reminds us that His Spirit moves gently, powerfully, and purposefully.

Just as the stillness of nature reflects His presence, may your heart today be a place where the Holy Spirit can rest, renew, and fill you with strength, clarity, and peace.

Breathe deeply. Look around. God is near.
May His Spirit guide every step you take today.

Our display for June will focus on the nuns that served at St. Mary Magdalen.

They were here as teachers at the school. We remember them for their dedication to our parish. Part of our display will also highlight some of the history of St. Conrad Parish.

St. Conrad was formed in 1966 from St. Mary Magdalen when new boundaries were drawn and closed in 2008. At that time, it became part of St. Mary Magdalen again.

Happy 3rd Anniversary to Fr. Ryan Walters on your priestly ordination!

Today we thank God for your “yes” to the priesthood and for the many ways you faithfully serve His people with compassion, humility, and joy. Your dedication to the Church, your guidance, and your witness to Christ continue to inspire so many.

May the Lord continue to bless your ministry abundantly, strengthen you in your vocation, and fill your heart with peace and grace for many years to come.

“Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will.” — Psalm 40:8

Please join us in praying for Fr. Ryan Walters today as he celebrates this special anniversary of ordination!

Lord God of mercy and might,
Today we pause with full hearts to honor the brave—
the men and women who have carried the weight of freedom
on their shoulders, in their hands, and deep within their souls.

Bless those who marched before us,
those who stand guard today,
and those whose sacrifice is known to You alone.
Grant eternal rest to the fallen,
healing to the wounded,
and peace to every family who has given more than we will ever know.

Strengthen the defenders of our nation with courage that does not waver,
wisdom that guides their steps,
and protection that surrounds them on every side.
May their service be met with our gratitude,
their burdens lightened by our prayers,
and their legacy carried forward with honor.

Teach us, Lord, to be worthy of the freedoms they protect.
Make us people of justice, compassion, and unity—
a nation that remembers, respects, and reveres
the cost of the liberty we enjoy.

In Your holy name we pray.
Amen.
