APPC Third Service in a contemporary worship service that takes place on Sunday mornings at 11:30 a.m. in the Oasis Worship Room in the Fellowship Building of Allen Park Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). You can expect to be welcomed with pancakes, coffee, fellowship and warm smiles by an intergenerational family that gathers to focus on God through casual and energetic worship. You can expect a rejuv
enating worship experience filled with scripture, music, communion, singing, times of prayer, art, drama, times of silence, and great laughter, through the leadership of our worship leaders. There are opportunities to participate – even if it is flipping pancakes -- or to worship in whatever way makes you feel most comfortable. Our doors are flung open at 11 a.m., and you are encouraged to have breakfast with us and socialize while our praise band, Thrive warms up before the service. Children of all ages are widely encouraged to “hang out” and “color” or make crafts on the large craft table in the worship room (yes, they really can color on the table – we have special paper!)
Our contemporary worship band consists of talented musicians ranging in age from 16 to 60 and are dedicated to leading worship through music ranging from traditional to music on the top contemporary worship charts.
