Gayatri Gyan Kendra of Long Island (a non-profit organization) was formed in 2006 to educate younger generations about Indian Culture, and achieve three objectives on the road to meeting the Gayatri goal.
1. Help younger generations develop intellectual knowledge about strengths and virtues ("Daivy Sampatti"), positive emotions ("Bhav Samvedana"), and positive character traits ("Charitra Nirman")

2. Provide progressive increments to our children in the realization of their potential as human beings, by identifying, understanding and integrating strengths (identified in the first objective above) into their daily lives
3. Shramdan, where students will donate time for social cause, and practice "Simple Living and High Thinking"motto with a disciplined lifestyle using clear and strong values.

Thanks to Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, for recognizing and honoring the outstanding high school volunteers from Gayatri Gyan Kendra of Long Island (GGKLI) at the Nassau County office. 💕💕
Despite their busy academic schedules, these dedicated students volunteer their time to mentor younger kids and help lead educational clubs and programs at GGKLI. Their leadership, service, and commitment to the community truly inspire us.
We are incredibly proud of these young leaders and grateful for the recognition of their impact. 👏✨
