This magnificent litany was written for the 50th Anniversary of the Ordination of Women as Episcopal Priests by two even more magnificent women priests who serve right here in the Mid-Hudson: the Rev. Nicole Hanley (Orange Co.) and the Rev. Meredith Kadet Sanderson (Dutchess Co.). We thank you! WE WELCOME OUR INTERIM RECTOR THIS SUNDAY!

We look forward to welcoming The Rev. Mary B. Gregorius, our Interim Rector, for services this Sunday, June 30th. Coffee hour in her honor follows the 10 o'clock service.

Mother Mary will serve The Episcopal Church of the Messiah throughout the transition of our search for our new Rector.
Mthr. Mary’s primary focus will be leading Sunday and Thursday Worship, meeting regularly with the Vestry, visiting parishioners, Pastoral Care of the congregation, and presence at many parish events.

While the process of calling a new Rector can seem fraught with uncertainty, it can also be a time of great discovery for a parish. Mthr. Mary will be with us to offer support, encouragement, and stability as we explore and discern who we are as a people of God in our immediate community. We will be led through discussions encouraging us to take ownership of the Gospel of love preached and lived out in practical service. We will be challenged by occasional changes Mother Mary will make in our Liturgy, the purpose of which is to help us articulate our Liturgical preferences.

The search process promises epiphanal moments, thought provoking conversation, and ultimately the call of an extraordinary new Rector for The Church of the Messiah.
Please join in this exciting adventure by attending Worship regularly, speaking up in discussion forums, and participating in parish surveys.
