There has been a well known video that has gone around for many years that pops up time to time of a person explaining the apocalypse, especially the 4 horsemen in the book of Revelations, how the 4 colors of the horses are white, red, black, and green, and if you look at every Muslims country in the world, their flags are white, red, black and green ... Now I'm not here to explain the video of the end times, the video itself does a great job. What I am posting is to defend the video against the millions of comments it gets, so you learn ..... I see many people comment that there is no green horse, the Bible says a Pale horse .... 1/2 correct, however the thing every single English speaking person CONTINUALLY, fails to understand is the Bible was not written in English, it was translated to English .... The New Testament including the book of Revelations was written in Greek .... so at times of question, you have to go back into the Greek.... just like the Old Testament was written in Hebrew so, if you have a question, you have to go back into the hebrew... back to the horses 🐎.... in Greek they are 4 colors, White -leukos (λευκός), Red-pyrrhos (πυρρός), Black-melas (μέλας), and Green- chloros (χλωρός)... chloros, is where in English we get Chlorophyll- chloros(green) phyllon( leaf) = Chlorophyll(green leaf).. the Greeks used chloros, to describe a sick person's appearance, you may heard of the expression green around the gills... that means you look sick .... in English when someone looks sick we call them Pale, you look Pale .... so when the Bible was being translated, what a green looking sick person was in greek, in English they used the word Pale instead ... that is why the Greek says, white, red, black, green and English bibles say white, red, black, and Pale ... Now You know, and you learned some Greek today too!
