Your daily reminder that He is in control 🙌🏻

08/22/2026

Sometimes one of the greatest blessings is the prayer God didn’t answer the way we wanted.

We pray for certain doors to open, certain situations to work out, certain people to stay, or certain plans to fall into place. In the moment, a “no” from God can feel like disappointment.

But looking back, how many times can we see His protection in it?

We only see what we want right now. God sees what is ahead.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.”
Isaiah 55:8 KJV

Thank You, Lord, for the prayers You answered.

And thank You for the ones You didn’t.

Thank You for the doors You closed, the plans You changed, and the things You kept from us because You knew what we could not see.

Sometimes an unanswered prayer is not God withholding His goodness. Sometimes it is His goodness!

Today was one of those simple days that reminds us what really matters. Watching these kids laugh, create, and make each shirt their own was such a blessing. Every shirt is different, filled with bright colors, paint splatters, and a little beautiful chaos, just like each of us. But no matter how unique each one became, the cross remained at the center. What a perfect reminder that no matter how busy, messy, or colorful life gets, Jesus should always be at the center of our lives.

Our prayer is that every time these kids wear their shirts, they’ll remember they are loved by Christ and that He is always with them!

“And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.” Colossians 1:17

Happy Independence Day!

Today we thank God for the freedoms we enjoy and remember those who have sacrificed to protect them. As we celebrate with family, friends, and community, may we never forget that our greatest freedom is found in Christ.

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." — Psalm 33:12

Wishing you a safe, joyful, and blessed Fourth of July!

🇺🇸 Happy Fourth of July from all of us at Faith Baptist Church. 🇺🇸

Happy Father’s Day!

Today we honor and celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who faithfully lead, love, provide, and point their families toward Christ.

Thank you for your Godly example, your prayers, your sacrifice, and your steadfast faith. Your influence reaches far beyond what you may ever see.

We pray that God blesses each father today with joy, encouragement, and precious time with family.

“The righteous man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.” — Proverbs 20:7

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Faith Baptist Church! 💙🙏✝️

As we start a new week, remember that not every challenge is meant to stop you. Sometimes God uses life's obstacles to strengthen our faith, teach us patience, and remind us to trust Him more deeply.

When things do not go as planned this week, take a moment to pause and remember that God is already working ahead of you.

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)

We pray that each of you has a blessed week filled with peace, purpose, and opportunities to share God's love with those around you!

He is Risen! He is Risen indeed!

The stone was rolled away.
The tomb was empty.
And hope was made alive forever.

On the cross, Jesus carried the weight of our sin, our pain, and our brokenness.

But on this day… He rose.

And in that moment, He gave us something this world could never offer… grace, freedom, and new life.

Easter is a reminder that no matter how dark things may feel, no matter how far gone we think we are… God is still in the business of resurrection.

He restores what is broken.
He redeems what feels lost.
He brings life where there once was none.

And that same power that raised Jesus from the grave
is still moving, still working, and still reaching for you today.

You are not forgotten.
You are not too far gone.
You are deeply loved.

Happy Easter!
