McLean Presbyterian Church Grace Changes Everything

We meet Sundays at 8:45am & 11:15am. We're imperfect people, all at different stages in our relationship with God.

At McLean, we celebrate God's grace each week — the life, forgiveness, purpose and joy he gives us. Celebrate with us and find a place to connect: Sunday worship at 8:45am & 11:15am with a 10:15am Discipleship Hour.

The VBS team has been hard at work for the past couple weeks!

We are so excited as we welcome over 250 kids into our church tomorrow through Friday to learn about trusting Jesus in his wild and wonderful world!

Last Sunday, in Pastor Ryan’s sermon on Jacob’s Theft, he contrasts the earthly inheritance that drove Jacob and Esau’s conflict with the eternal inheritance believers have in Christ.

Through unpacking the stories of Jacob and Esau, we are encouraged in that we do not need to prove ourselves, justify ourselves, or earn God’s favor, because in Christ, the inheritance is already ours.

In the first sermon in our new sermon series, The Gospel in the Life of Jacob, Pastor Ryan preached about how Jacob’s birth and story draw parallels to our story — living in a culture of striving, pursuing answers, achievements, and approval — yet none of those pursuits can fully satisfy us.

The good news is that the blessing we are striving for is already offered in Christ. The approval we long for, the identity we seek, and the love we need are gifts to received through faith, not prizes earned through performance.

Last Sunday was our last sermon in our Sent sermon series.

In Pastor Austin’s final Sunday with us, he preached that through Christ, we can face life’s paradoxes — sorrow yet rejoicing, having nothing yet possessing everything — because our hope rests in the living Savior who has already secured our future.

Find your place to serve as part of our New Lambs Care Team!

Do you love babies? Have a special soft spot for parents adjusting to life with a new child? Enjoy writing notes, bringing meals, or simply praying for others in the church?

Our New Lambs Care Team comes alongside families to encourage and support them as they grow and settle into new rhythms. This is a low-commitment way to serve that flexes with your schedule: as a team member, you’ll be notified of a family in need — sign up as you’re able to write a note of encouragement or bring a meal.
