McLean Presbyterian Church Grace Changes Everything

We meet Sundays at 8:45am & 11:15am. We're imperfect people, all at different stages in our relationship with God.

At McLean, we celebrate God's grace each week — the life, forgiveness, purpose and joy he gives us. Celebrate with us and find a place to connect: Sunday worship at 8:45am & 11:15am with a 10:15am Discipleship Hour.

Find your place to serve as part of our New Lambs Care Team!

Do you love babies? Have a special soft spot for parents adjusting to life with a new child? Enjoy writing notes, bringing meals, or simply praying for others in the church?

Our New Lambs Care Team comes alongside families to encourage and support them as they grow and settle into new rhythms. This is a low-commitment way to serve that flexes with your schedule: as a team member, you’ll be notified of a family in need — sign up as you’re able to write a note of encouragement or bring a meal.

- Find support through Stephen Ministry -

It can be helpful to talk it out when you’re dealing with a difficult life circumstance — whether it’s grief, illness, job loss, loneliness, divorce, a breakup, a tough life transition, or some other struggle.

A Stephen Minister is a member of our church who is highly trained to talk alongside someone during a hard season. They provide confidential, prayerful, one-on-one support — a listening ear when it’s helpful.

Last Sunday, we started a new sermon series — “Sent”. Pastor Ryan kicked us off with a sermon centered on the idea of “Grace Changes Everything”.

Drawing from 2 Corinthians 5:14–21, he explains how the gospel transforms every dimension of our lives: the “why”, “how”, “what”, and how we are being sent with purpose.

Join us for a special ACE class panel to explore the topic of lament, as part of our Knowing How to Breathe: Discovering and Fostering a Praying Life class. Panelists include Ben Cordle, Rev. Dr. Bill Fullilove, Esther Liu Hong, and Laura Welke. All are welcome to attend, regardless of previous class attendance.

This class invites us to rediscover a vital, often neglected dimension of the Christian life — honest, Godward sorrow. In this panel discussion, we will hear different voices come together to help understand what lament is, what it feels like, and why it matters

True contentment isn’t found in changing circumstances or perfect alignment in life, but in a power outside ourselves — the living presence of Jesus.

Continuing in our Philippians sermon series last Sunday, Pastor Austin redefines Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me,” not as limitless achievement, but as the strength to endure and remain steady in any circumstances through Christ.
