Why is there a man climbing this steeple? 😱

In the 1930s, an electrical storm damaged the steeple on The Original Edifice of the Mother Church. This unnamed steeplejack was called in for repairs. This thrilling picture documents his process.

Look carefully—can you spot his ropes and ladder?
