McDonough Presbyterian Church

McDonough Presbyterian Church Serving others beyond Sunday Morning! Welcome, all children of God, to McDonough Presbyterian Church, a place to celebrate!

We strive to help people discover all they can be through a personal friendship with Jesus, including what it means to be Christ’s representative in the world as we Serve Others Beyond Sunday Morning.
“This is the ministry God has given us, and nothing can daunt us. We use no hocus pocus, no clever tricks, no dishonest manipulation of the Word of God…It is Christ Jesus as Lord whom we preach, not

ourselves.” (II Corinthians 4:1-3, 5, The Message)
A caring and growing congregation that blends old traditions and new beginnings, McDonough Presbyterian is large enough to meet your needs but small enough to need you. Wherever you are on the faith journey, whether a spiritual mountain top, a valley of discouragement or somewhere in between, we urge you to join as we continue to discover Jesus in who He says He is and can do what He promises, “I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10b, RSV)
Regardless of your background or beliefs, we invite you to allow us the privilege of serving you in the Lord’s name, and encourage you to unite with us in worship, work and witness.

Please keep our students and leaders in your prayers as we travel to Montreat this week. As we explore this year’s theme, Wonder & Wander, pray for safe travels, open hearts, deep friendships, and moments of discovering God’s presence in new and unexpected ways.

Thank you, McDonough Presbyterian Church, for supporting and encouraging our youth. We can’t wait to see where God leads us! 💙🙏

Who might be standing right in front of you?

Sometimes God shows up in the most unexpected ways through unexpected people. Join us this Sunday at 10:00 AM as Pastor Davis shares a message titled "Angels Unaware" from Matthew 10, inviting us to consider how God is at work all around us.

Whether you're a longtime member, a first-time guest, or simply looking for a place to worship, there's a seat for you at McDonough Presbyterian Church.

And don't rush off after worship! Stay for our Second Sunday Social, where we'll enjoy snacks, fellowship, and time together as a church family.

Come be encouraged. Come be challenged. Come experience God's presence in community.
