This is your invitation to simply come and gather on Sunday and worship God!

We live in a world that is busy, tired, distracted, and often overwhelmed. And sometimes we respond by trying to add more—more things to do, more places to be, more activity.

But Jesus calls us to something deeper.

Come to Me.
Come worship.
Come hear His Word.
Come rest in His grace.
Come be with His people.

When we gather, we aren’t simply filling another hour on the calendar.
We are gathering as Christ’s body to grow together—to encourage one another, bear one another’s burdens, stir one another toward love and good works, and become more like Jesus.

So wherever you are this week, come gather with us.

Haven’t been in a while? Come.

Running late? Still come.

Don’t feel like it? Especially come.

Hurting? Come.

Tired of pretending that everything is okay? Come as you are.

We’ve gotten pretty good at pretending that we’re not pretending. We smile, shake hands, say “I’m good,” and carry things no one else knows about.

But you don’t have to pretend before God.

Come with the weariness. Come with the questions. Come with the joy. Come with the brokenness. Come with the sin you need to confess and the burdens you can’t carry anymore.

Come and lay it before the Lord.

Not because the church is a place for perfect people, but because Christ is a perfect Savior.

We gather to turn our eyes away from ourselves and toward Him—to worship God in spirit and truth, to hear His Word, to confess, repent, receive His grace, and encourage one another as His people.

And we don’t come merely to feel better and go back unchanged.

We come to Christ so that, by His grace, we might walk in newness of life.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation…”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17

So whatever today looks like, come.

Come honestly.
Come humbly.
Come expecting God to meet us through His Word and among His people.

You don’t have to pretend. You just have to come.

Sunday morning worship is an amazing opportunity to…

Look to Christ—His glory, His goodness, His Word, and His grace.

Then look around at His people. This is His body. This is His bride. We were not saved to live isolated lives, but to belong to one another, serve one another, bear with one another, and encourage one another as we follow Jesus together.

Come to glorify God. Come to love His people. Come to be shaped by His Word. Come ready to give, serve, worship, and grow.

Our chief end is not to make much of ourselves.

It is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.

“Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, But to Your name give glory.” Psalm 115:1

Come gather with us. Look to Christ. Love His church. Live for His glory.

Come, thou fount of every blessing, tune my heart to sing Thy grace.

Prone to wander, Lord I feel it; prone to leave the God I love.

God didn’t call us to consume a church that perfectly matches our preferences. He called us to belong to His body, bear with one another, forgive one another, serve one another, and grow together in Christ.

Sometimes the discomfort we want to escape is the very place God wants to grow us.

“Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another… even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.” — Colossians 3:13

So don’t stay home because people are imperfect.

Come. Worship the perfect Savior. Hear His perfect Word. Love His imperfect people. And let Him keep changing you.

But when you gather with God’s people, you should find hope, forgiveness, healing, comfort, and purpose.
And above all, you should find Christ.

So come as you are—not because you have it all together, but because Jesus is enough.

But don’t let nerves keep you away.

The Lord is not calling you to hide. He is calling you to come.

Come as you are.

Come with your burdens.
Come when life is good, and come when life is falling apart.

Join Us This Sunday at Concord Baptist Church

Tomorrow isn’t ultimately about checking a box or keeping a routine—it’s about gathering with God’s people to worship the God who is worthy.

Don’t let your feelings make the decision for you. Whether you’ve been every week, it’s been a long time, or tomorrow would be your first visit, come. God calls His people to gather, to hear His Word, and to encourage one another.

You’ll be welcomed by friendly faces, firm handshakes, and a hug if you need one. More importantly, you’ll hear Christ proclaimed through gospel-centered singing and Jesus-centered preaching from Numbers 17 and Ephesians 5.

If it’s been a while since you’ve been to church and now you feel too embarrassed to return…

Remember, it’s not the Lord telling you to stay away. He’s the One calling you to come back home.

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Wherever you’ve been or whatever you’re carrying, Christ’s invitation is still the same: Come.
