Bogue Chitto Church of Christ

Bogue Chitto Church of Christ This is a Church that follows Jesus Christ. It patterns itself after the Church Jesus built, which we read about in the Bible. We do this each Sunday at 10:30.

We are a Church of Christ which meets and does all according to Jesus's instruction. When we meet we have a simple service, we sing, pray, teach, and have communion. We do not have bible classes or Sunday School because Jesus did not instruct us to do so. Neither did he give on instruction on it should be done. So not wanting to go beyond what he has said we do not. (Lev. 10:1-2 & Duet. 31:12-13)

Being hurt by those who should love you the most is a terrible thing, and it can have lasting consequences on life and faith. Or, it can be a difficult trial and hardship that can truly be overcome through faith and trust in an almighty God.

And what choice should you make when you have the opportunity to take revenge upon those who hurt you? Should we make it about us, or about showing the power of God through forgiveness?
