The Islamic Society of South Texas is a registered non-profit 501(c) organization that serves the Muslim community in the Rio Grande Valley by providing a house of worship and community center for Muslims, as well as a space for non-Muslims to learn more about Islam. We participate in interfaith dialogue, community service, creating spaces for Muslim youth, and raising awareness about Islam.

Asalamualaykum! InshAllah we will be celebrating Eid Al Adha at the masjid tomorrow, May 27, 2026. Takbeerat will begin at 8:30 AM, followed by salah and the khutbah at 9 AM.

We encourage everyone attending to carpool to the masjid. Overflow parking will be at the church on the southside.

Children’s celebration will be on Wednesday, May 27 from 4-8 PM at Main Event (Pharr). Food will be served there at 5 PM; entry fee is $15 using the link below.

2026 Salat-ul-Eid Announcement
(Masjid Ar-Ridwaan & Masjid Al-Farooq)

Salat‑ul‑Eid will be at Masjid Al‑Farooq, 2008 N. Ware Rd., McAllen, In’sha’Allah. Takberaat start at 8:30 a.m.; Salah at 9:00 a.m.

Overflow parking will be at the Church south of the Masjid. Orange cone in front of the Masjid means the Masjid parking is full. If you see the orange cone, slow down and park at the Church.

Two shuttles will transport elderly, women, and children from Church parking; men should walk.

Carpooling is strongly encouraged to ease traffic and parking. No breakfast will be served; please do not bring food to the Masjid.
