Ever since January of 1843, our church has been a very important church to our community and as weel to our state. At the highest peak of members in the mid 1940's of almost 300 people, we have been growing ever since! in 1963, a very loyal and dedicated person in our congregation, passed on. With his death, he left approximately 150,000 to remodel our church. So in August of 1964, the members of the Mill Creek Christian Church broke ground for what was known as,"The Decade Of Decision". This ground breaking was the "New Beginning" in the history in our church. So in more than 190 days, A New Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall, 20 New classrooms, and a prayer room were made. The dedication of the new church was held on June 20, 1965 at 2:00 in the afternoon. More than 350 people gathered in the "New Part" of the church. And now in the next year, The Mill Creek Christian Chruch will turn 50. A Milestone of its beginning and its future to come.
