Tomorrow at Mason City First, we continue with “Due Season.”

Last week, we talked about how we need to allow the Lord to remove what’s been crowding the sacred soil of our hearts. But even after the ground is cleared and the seed is planted, the harvest usually doesn’t come overnight.
There is still a season of waiting.

Galatians 6:9 reminds us, “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”

The seed may be hidden right now, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t growing. The harvest may not be visible yet, but that doesn’t mean God has forgotten.

Join us tomorrow for this encouraging word about trusting God’s timing, staying faithful in the waiting, and not giving up before due season comes.

⏰ Sunday Schedule:
☕ 8:30am – Café (FREE bagels, coffee & more)
📘 9:00am – Adult Sunday School
🎶 10:15am – Worship & the Word - Lighthouse Kids (K–6)
🎥 Join us online if you can’t make it in person!

Worries, fears, and distractions can choke out the spiritual growth within us, just like weeds in a garden. The Word can still be present, but without proper care, it can become unfruitful. Let's examine what's truly growing in our hearts. For the full message: https://youtu.be/AzjSP5vLul0?si=Xw8CIHSytt8W6PTz

Like fig trees needing space to grow, we need good soil, hydration, and nutrients to produce good fruit. Don't stay in a small pot; allow your roots to grow deep, and you'll flourish. For the full message: https://youtu.be/AzjSP5vLul0?si=Xw8CIHSytt8W6PTz

Roots must grow deep before fruit can appear. This essential nourishment happens unseen, much like our own spiritual growth through prayer, repentance, and private worship. What you don't see is what sustains you. For the full message: https://youtu.be/AzjSP5vLul0?si=Xw8CIHSytt8W6PTz

How we react under pressure, especially when things go wrong, exposes our true selves. Disappointment and suffering reveal the condition of our roots. True Christianity requires more than just enthusiasm; it demands spiritual depth, finding life in God's presence, not just in events. Is your faith shallow? It's not about lack of interest, but a lack of depth. When life's challenges hit, superficial faith crumbles. Let's grow roots deep in Christ, not just follow the latest trends. For the full message: https://youtu.be/AzjSP5vLul0?si=Xw8CIHSytt8W6PTz

Like the dog from Up distracted by a squirrel, our emotions can easily pull us away from what matters. We hear God's word, get excited, but then a 'squirrel' moment happens and everything stops. Shallow soil can look alive with quick emotional growth, but without depth, it's easily derailed. For the full message: https://youtu.be/AzjSP5vLul0?si=Xw8CIHSytt8W6PTz

🌱 Tomorrow at Mason City First, we’re continuing our series Growing Season: Planted for Purpose with a message called “Clearing Ground.”

God’s Word is good seed, but sometimes the soil of our hearts gets crowded by worry, distraction, misplaced priorities, and things God never intended to grow there. Before purpose can fully take root, some ground has to be cleared.

Join us tomorrow as we ask the Holy Spirit to help us remove the things that are choking out spiritual growth and make room for what God wants to produce in us.

⏰ Sunday Schedule:
☕ 8:30am – Café (FREE bagels, coffee & more)
📘 9:00am – Adult Sunday School
