Our flesh craves a throne, but discipleship requires a cross. We have to remember that it's not about our glory, it's about God's glory!

"Truly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains by itself. But if it dies, it produces much fruit. The one who loves his life will lose it, and the one who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life." John 12:24-25 🌾

We must choose to love Jesus, His sacrifice, and His plans more than anything else in this life. Serving Him requires us to daily die to ourselves, take up our cross, and follow after Jesus!

What would you lay down at the feet of Jesus if He walked into your life right now?

In John 12, the crowds laid down palm branches before Jesus as He entered Jerusalem. They honored Him as King. They made a path for Him with what they had in their hands.

But today, maybe what we need to lay down looks different. Maybe it’s our anxiety, anger, bitterness, shame, control, or the weight we’ve been carrying for far too long.

Maybe it’s the version of ourselves we keep trying to hold on to instead of surrendering fully to Him.

The crowds shouted “Hosanna!” — “Lord, save us now!” And He still does.

The people expected a forceful, conquering king, but Jesus came humbly riding on a donkey. His victory was not in creating temporary comfort, but in bringing eternal life to all who would believe in Him!
