We missed you, Dee Keeler, but we believe you are with our Lord Jesus whom you loved so much.

Virginia DeAnn Keller, 78, of Marshall, IL, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2026 near Marshall, IL from the result of an auto accident. Dee was born October 22, 1947 at Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Glen D. Forsythe and Dorothy E. Machlin Forsythe. She married Jerald D. Keller on August 4, 1968 and he preceded her in death on October 8, 2013. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert W. Forsythe and her grandparents, Lillie and Frank Machlin and Etta and Ben Forsythe. Surviving are two children, Rob (Julie) Keller and Denise (Keith) Hoggatt; grandchildren, Jacob (Rebecca) Keller, Alston (Chase) Keller, Kenny Keller, Sydney (Michael) Daugherty, Molley Hoggatt and Ethan (girlfriend Morgan) Hoggatt and great grandchildren, Peyton, Aria, Able, Cohen, Macke, Benji, Jayden and one on the way, Arley. She was a long and faithful member of the Armstrong United Methodist Church, a member of the Great Banquet, a graduate of Marshall High School and retired from TRW. A lifelong Cub’s fan, one thing she will always be remembered for is her devotion and love for her family. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Monday at the Armstrong United Methodist Church, 18500 N. Armstrong RD, Marshall, IL. Services in honor of her life will be 10:30 AM Tuesday at the church with Pastors Joe Irwin and Esther Inuwa officiating. Burial will be in the Forsythe Cemetery, rural Marshall, IL. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to The Lion’s Tribe Academy of Marshall.
