Living Word Church Living God's Word, Sharing God's Love. Sunday Worship Service at 8:00 and 9:30 AM for the summer! Worship and music are a vital part of Living Word.

Living Word Church was founded out of a deep conviction to the LIVING WORD of God - His Holy Bible. Contemporary worship and praise songs along with occasional traditional hymns comprise our Sunday morning worship. A strong emphasis is placed on God's Word in worship, in Bible study and in daily life. We encourage bringing your Bible to worship, and Bibles are also available for your use.

✍ Message from Pastor Dave:

📖 “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.” – Genesis 1:1-5

🌎 It is clear from the very beginning, that God brings order out of chaos. The very first lines of Genesis describe the chaos that existed before God spoke. The text tells us that; “the earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep!” It’s sort of curious to have the Bible start with this thought. Why not just start Genesis with the words “Let there be light!”? Why describe the chaos before God’s creative Word is spoken?...

✌ Two things have been on my (Pastor Josh's) mind for the past few weeks…graduation and preparing for an open house.

🎓 As Kristen and I have been preparing our home for Brennon’s graduation open house (which, by the way, is May 30 from 3-5 at our house and you’re all invited!), we’ve spent many evenings doing yardwork, cleaning the garage, and checking off long to-do lists. Like many parents this time of year, we’ve found ourselves both exhausted and grateful at the same time. In the middle of all the preparation one evening… 👇
