Chapel By The Sea

Chapel By The Sea It's time to get rooted in the word! Sunday Service - 9:30AM

Wednesday Prayer and Teaching - 6pm-8 All the believers were together and had everything in common.

Our Vision

Union Chapel By The Sea is a distinctly Christian fellowship that exists to bring glory to God by serving as His means of producing individuals who are continually led by the Holy Spirit, firmly rooted in Biblical truth, and constantly maturing in their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 2: 42-47

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of

bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts 3: 31

After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. Psalms 1 (v.2-3)

Delight in the Law of the Lord, and mediate on His law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by stream of water, which yields it’s fruit in the season and whose leaf does not wither – whatever they do prospers. Colossians 2: 6-7

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Before Christ, we were separated from God and without hope. Yet through His mercy and grace, He has brought us near and made us part of His family.
In Ephesians 2:11–22, Paul reminds us that the gospel doesn't just reconcile us to God—it unites us to one another. The barriers that once divided us have been broken down through Jesus Christ.

And as 1 Corinthians 6:11 reminds us, our identity is no longer found in who we once were. "Such were some of you." Through Christ, we have been washed, sanctified, and justified.

May we remember the mercy we've received and extend that same love and grace to others. Because our story is not defined by our past, but by the Savior who redeemed us. ♥️

These words from Paul Tripp’s Sunday Matters have been such a good reminder for us this week.
God’s Word acts like a mirror, revealing our hearts, reminding us of our need for His grace, and drawing us closer to Him. That’s one of the many reasons gathering together each week matters so much.
We’d love to worship with you tomorrow at Chapel By The Sea. 🤍
