👑🔥 WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY – WEEK 2: REVELATION 1 🔥👑

📖 "The Vision of the Risen Christ"

Join us this Wednesday as we continue our journey through the Book of Revelation.

Before Revelation introduces ⚔️ beasts, 🌎 world events, and ⏳ end-time judgments, it gives us something far more important:

✨ It reveals Jesus Christ. ✨

In Revelation 1, the Apostle John is exiled on the lonely island of Patmos 🌊🏝️ when heaven pulls back the curtain and he sees the risen Lord in all His glory.

The result is one of the most breathtaking portraits of Christ in all of Scripture.

🔍 This week we'll explore:

🔥 Why Revelation is first and foremost about Jesus, not timelines

🏮 What it means that Christ walks among His churches

👑 The significance of John's vision of the glorified Lord

🤝 Why the words "Fear not" still bring hope today

🌅 How our view of the future is shaped by our view of Jesus

In a world filled with confusion 😔, anxiety 😟, and uncertainty 🌪️, Revelation reminds us that before we ever face the future, we meet the One who holds it.

💬 "If Christ is small, the future is frightening. If Christ is revealed, the future is held."

📚 Come join us as we open God's Word, worship together, and behold the King who reigns over all things.

⚡ Before the beast...
⚡ Before the judgments...
⚡ Before the chaos...

👑 BEHOLD THE KING. 👑

📅 Wednesday Night

🙌 Everyone is welcome!

The Cost of A Counterfeit Name - Gen 32:22-32

05/31/2026

🔥 The Cost of a Counterfeit Name 🔥
Series: Summer Stories — Revisiting the Stories That Shaped Us
📖 Text: Genesis 32:22–32 (with reflection on Genesis 27)

Tonight, we stood on the edge of the river with Jacob.

Not the polished version of him.
Not the “successful” version.
But the exhausted man who had spent years surviving under an identity that was never truly his.

Jacob’s story is the story of a man who built his life on borrowed words, stolen blessings, and a name that never quite fit. And eventually—inevitably—that life catches up with him in the dark, alone at the Jabbok River.

Behind him: broken history.
Ahead of him: uncertain consequence.
And in the middle: God.

What follows is one of the most intense moments in Scripture—a wrestling match in the night where strength finally fails, and honesty becomes the doorway to transformation.

“Jacob… what is your name?”

That question changes everything.

Because the real breakthrough wasn’t strength.
It wasn’t strategy.
It wasn’t escape.

It was truth.

Jacob finally stops performing.
He finally stops pretending.
And in that moment of raw honesty, God does what only God can do:

He doesn’t just bless Jacob—He renames him.

Israel is born where Jacob finally tells the truth about Jacob.

And the sign of that encounter isn’t instant perfection…
it’s a limp.

A reminder that grace often leaves us changed, humbled, and finally free from the exhausting effort of pretending to be someone else.

Maybe the deepest spiritual struggle isn’t with enemies around us…
but with the counterfeit names we’ve been living under.

And maybe the question God is still asking tonight is the same one He asked at the riverbank:

“What is your name?”

Join us as we continue this Summer Stories series—revisiting the moments that reshape who we are in God.

Ever feel like you’re wearing armor that doesn’t fit? 🛡️❌

When we first hear the story of David and Goliath as kids, it’s simple: little guy, big giant, smooth stone, victory.

But you’re a veteran of life now. You’ve been through some campaigns. You’ve got some scar tissue. You know what it feels like to stand in a valley while fear screams at you from the ridge.

And if we’re being completely honest... many of us are walking into this summer season dragging 150 pounds of heavy, bronze armor that doesn’t belong to us. We’re exhausted from the hustle, suffocating under control, and hardened by cynicism.

We try to fight life's biggest battles using the world's heavy, awkward coping mechanisms. It feels like protection, but it’s actually a prison.

Today, we are launching our brand-new summer series, Summer Stories: Revisiting the Stories That Shaped Us. We are stepping right into 1 Samuel 17 to look at this battlefield in high-definition color.

It's time to stop fighting by the giant's rules. It's time to take off the bronze, drop the weight, and learn how to travel light.

You may have heard this story before… but it still knows your name.

See you in the sanctuary at [Insert Time] or join us online. Bring a neighbor, pull up a chair, and let's get into it. 🌾👇

If you think you already know how these stories end, we invite you to look closer. God is still speaking through them, uncovering fresh, deep truths that hit right where we live today.

Whether you can recite these accounts by heart or you're hearing them for the very first time, there is a timely word waiting for you this season.

Join us this Sunday as we begin the journey!

Bring the family, invite a neighbor, and let’s discover fresh application from timeless truths together.
