Sometimes the biggest thing standing between us and what God wants to do is us. Following Jesus means learning to let go of our own way, our own plans, and our need to have everything figured out. The more we surrender, the more room we give Him to lead.

If you’ve reached the end of yourself, don’t lose hope. That might just be where something new begins. Keep reaching for Jesus. He’s not finished with you yet. 🙏

“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” Luke 9:23

There comes a point in our walk with God when “I’ve got this” has to become “God’s got this.” We can depend on our abilities, determination, education, finances, accomplishments, or status, but none of those things can take the place of dependence on Christ. God brings us to the end of ourselves so we can recognize that He is our source. Dependence on Him is not weakness. It is understanding where our true strength comes from.

When we stop trying to carry everything in our own strength, we make room to trust the One who is greater than anything we could accomplish on our own. We do not have to prove that we are capable. We need to remain connected to Christ, trusting Him and drawing our strength from Him.

Maybe the question today is not, “Can I handle this?” Maybe it is, “Am I depending on God through this?” Without Him, we can do nothing. With Christ as our source, we can walk forward knowing that our strength is found in Him.

“I am the vine; you are the branches... apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

Your identity is not something you have to earn. It is found in Jesus Christ. Our value does not rise and fall with our performance, accomplishments, or the approval of others. When we belong to Christ, we can stand secure in what He has already said about us. We are chosen, loved, redeemed, and welcomed into the family of God.

That changes the way we live. We do not have to spend our lives trying to prove that we matter. In Christ, we are sons and daughters of God and heirs with Him. Our peace, joy, purpose, and confidence flow from knowing whose we are.

The cross is a powerful reminder of how deeply God values you. Jesus gave His life for you, and your identity is secure in Him. Let’s grow in faith together, learning to see ourselves through the truth of who Jesus says we are.

“And if children, then heirs, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ...” Romans 8:1

Excuses can keep us comfortable, but they can also keep us stuck. Growth begins when we become honest about where we are, what needs to change, and where we need God’s help. The Lord is not asking us to hide our struggles or pretend we have everything together. He invites us to walk in truth, receive His grace, and allow the Holy Spirit to transform us from the inside out.

Healing begins when honesty begins. Instead of making excuses for what is holding you back, bring it before God. Take responsibility, receive His grace, and keep moving forward. Your past does not have to determine your future when you surrender your life to Jesus.

Let’s grow in faith together, choosing truth over excuses and transformation over staying stuck. 🙌

Worship is more than a moment in a service. It is the response of a heart that recognizes who God is and chooses to draw near to Him.

When we worship together, we bring our gratitude, our burdens, our victories, and our need for God into His presence. We are reminded that He is faithful, He is worthy, and He is still at work in our lives.

Whatever this week has held, keep your heart turned toward Jesus. Let your worship become a place of surrender, renewed faith, and deeper trust in Him. 🙏
