Psalm 34:8, "O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him."

As summer winds down, many people have attended various festivals and fairs. In Marion, Ohio, the annual Popcorn Festival is going on now. It is estimated a quarter of a million people will attend! With all the food trucks and stands, think how much tasting is going on!! As people taste, some items are scrumptious...some, ehhh, maybe not so tasty.

When you taste (perceive) our Lord God, He is ALWAYS Good!! That means, when you partake of God:

✔️ He is pleasant (to the senses)
✔️ He is excellent
✔️ He is agreeable

He beats out any natural tasting food items you experience in this earthly body.

We can taste of the Lord every day! Tomorrow we invite you to fellowship with us in tasting of our good, good God!!

John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

You desire that peace from God as the Bible verse says above? He provides that for those that trust Him!

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isa 26:3

Everywhere you turn, there is turmoil. This world cannot give you perfect peace. It's necessary to know the One and trust the One who provides the real thing!!

Tomorrow is August 30.

In the Bible, the number 30 means many things. It frequently symbolizes spiritual maturity and dedication.

How is your maturity in God? Are you growing spiritually closer to Him? Are you truly dedicated to serving Him?

Dedicate yourself to start with Sunday, August 30, in church... worshipping Him and fellowshipping with other believers!!

Psalm 23:3

"He RESTORETH my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake."

Restore in this verse means to turn back, return, repent, refresh, repair.

During a recent conversation with a friend, she shared an amazing story of God's restoration in the life of a mutual friend. It made me cry with gratefulness that God cares about each of us. When we humbly bow before Him in need, He will restore us. He won't barge in on you....its a choice for you to surrender it all to Him!

Are you in need of Godly restoration? Between you and God or between your family, friends, or even one you consider an enemy? Cry out to Him...the One that gives perfect restoration!
