THERE IS A GENERATION

A group of ancient widows sat listening to a newcomer to their gathering. Tears were flowing down wrinkled faces as each of them empathized with the woman who had a wayward and disrespecting son. They too had such children …sons and daughters who saw no need for Christ …sons and daughters who gave no thought to eternity. Worst of all these women, now with few years left, pondered if they would enter into eternity not knowing if they would ever see their loved ones on the other side.

Proverbs 30:11-12, “There is‭ a generation‭ ‭that‭ curseth‭‭ their father‭, and doth not bless‭‭ their ‭mother‭‭.‭ ‭There is‭ a generation‭ ‭that are‭ pure‭ in their own eyes‭, and ‭yet‭ is not washed‭‭ from their filthiness‭.‭”
