Sunday Recap 🕊️
Yesterday at Restoration Church we were reminded that our voices matter and that God has given each of us a voice for such a time as this.
Pastor Darren challenged us to:
“Stay the course” and finish what God started in us and through our church.
Keep building the bridge and rebuilding the wall one brick at a time – through prayer, repentance, unity, and obedience.
Refuse petty living and circular ruts, and instead move forward into the mission God has for McDowell County.
Be like John the Baptist, a voice crying out in the wilderness, preparing the way of the Lord and calling people to repentance and real change.
Use our words to speak life, not death – to encourage, build up, and bear one another’s burdens instead of spreading drama or tearing down.
Believe again in the power of a Spirit-filled voice – a voice that can speak to mountains, confront the enemy, and carry the name of Jesus into the highways and hedges.
We ended our time together asking God to baptize us with Holy Spirit and fire, to restore our boldness, and to awaken the lion inside our lungs. The call is clear:
No more silence. No more shrinking back.
Go be contagious, compassionate bridge-builders with the voice God has given you.
Let’s carry this into our week—into our homes, workplaces, schools, and every “highway and hedge” we step into. Your voice matters. Use it for Jesus.
