Welcome to Rev. Craig Mansur for leading our worship today and to Linda Bauman for providing the music this morning. Welcome to any visitors joining us today.

JOINT SESSION MEETING: There will be a joint Session Meeting with the Pioneer and First Session members, meeting at First Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, August 25th at 4:30 p.m. We hope everyone can attend.

ALMOST TIME FOR PRESBYTERIAN PEANUTS: September 21st will mark the start of another season of making our delicious Presbyterian Peanuts. Helpers are needed and appreciated. The dates are Sept. 21 & 28; Oct. 5, 19 & 26; Nov. 2 & 30; December 7 & 14th. Please call Darlene at the church office to order.

A NEW FALL BIBLE STUDY BEGINS SEPTEMBER 10TH
What if following Jesus isn't about escaping our humanity, but discovering what it truly means to be human? This fall, you're invited to Becoming More Human: Discovering the Life Jesus Created You For, a six-week Bible study exploring some of the deepest longings we all share: peace, purpose, healthier relationships, joy, hope, and spiritual growth.

Through Scripture and conversation, we'll explore questions that touch everyday life: What does it mean to be created in God's image? How can we experience peace when life feels anxious? Where do we find purpose? How does forgiveness heal relationships? Can we really have joy when life is hard? And what does it actually mean to grow in Christ?

This study is designed for everyone—whether you've studied the Bible for years, haven't opened one in a long time, or are simply curious about what Jesus might have to say about your life.

Becoming More Human begins Thursday, September 10th at 10:00 a.m. in the Gathering Room at First Presbyterian Church and will continue on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. Bring your Bible if you have one, bring your questions, and bring a friend! Come discover with us the life Jesus created you for.
