This summer, we’re diving into some of the most powerful chapters in all of Scripture as we walk through Romans 5–8 together.

Life can leave us feeling burdened by guilt, failure, temptation, and uncertainty. But Paul reminds us that because of Jesus Christ, we have peace with God, victory over sin, and a future filled with hope.

Last Sunday we celebrated Pentecost—the day the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the Church and ordinary people were empowered to do extraordinary things for God.

This Sunday, we’ll remember another powerful moment of God’s grace: Baptism.

Whether you were baptized as an infant, child, youth, or adult, baptism reminds us that we belong to Jesus Christ and are part of His family. As we gather for a special Baptismal Remembrance Service, we’ll reflect on God’s faithfulness, renew our commitment to follow Christ, and remember the promises made over our lives.

The same Holy Spirit who filled the disciples at Pentecost is the same Spirit at work in us today.

Come worship with us this Sunday as we remember whose we are and who God is calling us to be.

All Together Now …

"When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting." (Acts 2:1-2, NRSV)

Today churches remember and celebrate Pentecost, commemorating the day the promise was fulfilled in sending the Advocate or Helper. It reminds us that, with the Holy Spirit, amazing occurrences take place. Imagine being there, feeling the Spirit, being given the power to speak another language and communicate with others from all over. This showing of God's power is an example of the power that can fill us to do great things in His name.

🙏 Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Fill us so that we may faithfully serve You and boldly share the hope of Jesus Christ. Amen.
