Hey guy! Take some time while you're at home to work on your memory verse!

Parents we are going to start memory verse work with the children through 5th grade. There will be small treasure box prizes with each verse memorized and if so many verses are memorized a quarter we will have another prize.
Pre-school parents, your children's verses will be modified to be a bit easier. (IF you choose you may have your child memorize the full/longer scripture. We will provide the CSB version of the scripture here for ease, but your child may use a different version of scripture if you wish. Also please make sure your child memorizes the scripture reference. Also, making the scripture into songs is a great fun way to help your child memorize the scriptures.)

Acts 1:8 Due by March 1
Full version: "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
Pre-school version: "You will be my witnesses... to the end of the earth."

Galatians 2:20 Due by March 29
Full version: "I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life i now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. "
Pre-school version: "I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

Romans 6:9 Due by April 12
Full version: "We know that Christ, having been raised from the dead, will not die again. Death no longer rules over him."
Pre-school version: "We know that Christ, having been raised from the dead, will not die again."

Please have children see Jessica Marie Newman, Emily Epps, Kim Lavender Posey at check in to present memory verses.
