This Sunday, we observe All Saints’ Sunday and honor the memory of those who have gone before us during morning worship services. We continue the day of remembrance with a musical performance of the Fauré Requiem at 5 p.m. All are welcome to attend this afternoon of reflection and sacred music.

Calling all 8th and 9th graders that want to go through confirmation! We are starting our biweekly confirmation classes the week of Dec 1st and will conclude on May 16 (Pentecost) with a confirmand led worship service. In honor of the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, Patron Saint of Animals, we're gathering this Sunday, October 4 at 1 p.m. for a Blessing of the Animals service. Depending on the weather, we'll either gather on the front lawn or in the Fellowship Hall. Bring your furry, scaly, or feathered friend (even a photo of your companion) to remember our connection with creation!

🕯️ Something different is coming to our sanctuary on October 10: a candlelit concert celebrating Queen and Elton John!

Lumos Candlelit Concerts has booked our space for the night, with a string trio performing favorites from both artists across three sittings: 4:30, 6:30, and 8:30 pm.

This one's not a Morrow program, just us happily lending our acoustics and atmosphere for a beautiful Saturday night. Tickets are sold through Lumos (no church discount, sorry!), so head to their site for details and seating.

Cynthia, our new Director of Family Ministries, led our annual Blessing of the Backpacks on Sunday. We're still praying for all of the students, teachers, administrators, and others who are back at school this week and in the weeks to come.

Today is a great day at Morrow. Please join us in welcoming Cynthia Lindsay, our new Director of Family Ministries, on her very first day with us.

Cynthia comes to us from Princeton Theological Seminary, where she is pursuing dual master's degrees, and she brings a real gift for ministry with children and youth. In her words, she believes the church can be a place where families "slow down, build authentic relationships, ask the hard questions, and know that they are loved by God exactly as they are."

Say hello if you see her around the sanctuary or the neighborhood, and help us give her and her husband Nolan the warmest of Morrow welcomes.
