Happy 13th birthday to our blue-eyed Danny Boy! A member of the original APF herd, Danny has been a part of the family since he was a knobby-kneed little foal. We are so grateful to have him with us today as he does his part in impacting lives in our community.

Thanks to an incredibly generous gift, we were able to make a major upgrade on the shelter floor! Afton stone underneath rubber stall mats with a concrete border to hold everything in place will allow for easier maintenance, horse care, and access for those with mobility limitations. Thank you so much to our gift-giver for this blessing. Our horses and their friends greatly appreciate it!

A before and after of the Farm flower garden is just a snippet of the work that was accomplished today! In spite of the rain, the little volunteer crew pulled together and completed several other big jobs like cleaning out the shelters, adding new Mindfulness Trail posts, building supports around the barn and water to reduce erosion, and mending fencing after a winter of heavy snowfall. Thank you to those who braved the weather to help us make this work happen! We could not have done it without you!

Now that the snow and ice are finally gone, we can move forward with our spring clean up projects! Join us at the Farm on Saturday, May 17th for some time spent sprucing things up! Some of the jobs that are needing to be completed are cleaning up manure in the corral, arena, and run in shelters; fixing fencing after all that snow left some minor damage; sweeping out and straightening the barn; and possibly a few other odd jobs. We will start working at 10:00 am, and you are welcome to come and go as you please! Lunch will be provided, so if you could send us a message here or email Jess at [email protected] to let us know you are coming, that would be so helpful for us as we prepare for making the food!

Spring is here, and Star would like to let you know that on Saturday, May 17th, anybody over the age of 10 who would like to come help with spring clean up here on the Farm is welcome! We will start working at 10:00am, and you are welcome to come and go as you need! More details of the day and specific jobs that will need to be done will be coming soon! We are so thankful to Chelsea's Equine Massage and Therapy for the work she has done and will continue on our Indie to help her be comfortable and happy! Thank you, Chelsea!

Hey ya'll hope you are all staying warm with the lights on. Its a privledge these days! 😅 The Beal farm is all good. We got lucky thats for sure. Many still without and you are all in my prayers!
I am back to work now that school is open again haha So don't hesitate to reach out with your horsey needs! Spring is coming I can feel it!

She released a lot of tension especially in her face, shoulders, neck and back. She is another one who also changed color afterwards! I can't wait to see her again 💕

It is with great sadness that we announce we had to say goodbye to our sweet Cody this past Saturday. It was unexpected, but we trust in God’s timing and know Cody’s memory will live on. We are grateful for the almost four years he lived in our pastures, as well as the work he did in the lives he touched.

Last Saturday, a very handsome bay Thoroughbred won the 150th Kentucky Derby by a nose. About the time he was achieving his very narrow victory, a very beautiful bay Thoroughbred stepped off the trailer here as a permanent resident at Answered Prayer Farm. Welcome to the herd, our lovely lady Indie.
