ANOTHER project from Bethany Wesleyan Church’s recent missions trip to camp. They partnered with our maintenance lead, Roger, to built an overhang to make our new Family Camp Welcome Center location permanent! This will be a great space for Applefest as well. We are so grateful!

We have a very special cottage called the Owen’s House that sits along the river. The Owen’s House was named after Quay Owens, a regional Alliance Men’s President and businessman. He and a group of men from DuBois Pa had a heart for development at Mahaffey Camp. One of their many projects was the Owens House.

This summer and last, a dear missions team from Bethany Wesleyan Church and a few cottage owners have been working to remodel this space. Throughout the year, it houses missionaries, guest speakers, worship leaders, and small retreat groups. It now has new flooring, new windows, paint, many repairs, electrical updates, and beautiful decor. Stay tuned for the porch addition in our next post! We can never express enough thanks to Bethany Wesleyan Church for the way you’ve blessed camp over the years.
