ALL DISCIPLES SING 2026

Save the date for the 2026 All Disciples Sing and Annual Meeting at Mayfield First Christian at 4 p.m. Central on Sunday, November 1. The All Disciples Sing will feature a diverse lineup of choirs and musicians from across our churches, and we’ll also join together in two mass anthems available for download:

NBA is now accepting applications for Fall 2026 Mission & Ministry Grants! These grants provide funding for Disciples-related ministries and congregation projects serving older adults, educating youth and young adults, and intergenerational projects serving both young adults and older adults. Applications will be accepted through September 30th.

What a joyous day yesterday at First Christian Church of Mayfield Kentucky celebrating this milestone on their journey as they settle in to their new building and raised an ebenezer in thanksgiving to God. We can't wait to see what God does in this next chapter.

Congratulations to Liberty Christian Church in Hopkinsville, KY on becoming a Green Chalice Ministry!

We are thrilled to celebrate Liberty Christian Church as they live out their faith by caring for God's creation. After forming their Green Chalice team this spring and signing the Green Chalice Covenant, this congregation has made real changes to walk more gently on the earth.

Their efforts include:

Replacing all lightbulbs with LEDs
Installing an energy-efficient furnace and windows
Adding a programmable thermostat
Planting trees
Switching to compostable plates, cups, and bamboo cutlery
Bringing homemade tea to replace plastic bottles at dinners
Choosing aluminum cans over plastic bottles

Taken together, these steps reflect a thoughtful and wholehearted commitment to creation care. We are grateful for their witness to their congregation and the wider Hopkinsville community.

We look forward to all the new things you are doing to save our sacred planet and love our neighbors.
