Today is Pastor Kirby's official start of his Sabbatical! This is an intentional time of leave to provide physical, emotional, spiritual, and relational renewal for him. He will be unavailable through the summer. Please continue to cover him in prayer as he rests.

This week, we had Pastor Kirby's sister, Pastor Kelley Thury (USANG Chaplain) speak to us. She reminded us that real love costs something. It's not just emotion or feelings - it's sacrifice, surrender, and showing up even when we're tired. Jesus didn't just say He cared about humanity. He gave Himself fully, completely, and willingly.

Grace is free to us, but it wasn't free to Christ. The question is: how will we respond? Not with indifference, but with gratitude that changes how we live. Let's stay in His love, live like grace matters, and love others the way Christ loved us.

This week we wrapped up our series on Ezra with a powerful challenge: commitment. Just like we can't show up to a marathon without training, we can't follow Jesus without intentional commitment. The Israelites learned this lesson when Ezra taught them God's Word and they responded with unified purpose.

James reminds us: "Don't just listen to God's word. You must do what it says" (James 1:22). We were given three commitments to transform our faith: Commit to LISTEN (read Scripture daily), Commit to OBEY (do what God says), and Commit to REMEMBER (stay engaged with your faith community).
