đź“– Proverbs 6

There is a lot packed into this chapter diligence, pride, our words, relationships, temptation, and the consequences of foolish choices.

But one thought that stayed with me today was this:

Faithfulness is built in the little choices no one else sees.

God's Word gives us wisdom not only for the big decisions, but for the everyday choices that shape who we are.

Take a few minutes today to
read Proverbs 6
and let God speak to you through it.

with what God is teaching us. 🙌

Conviction isn’t about what everyone else says is right. It’s about being faithful to what God has put on YOUR heart.

Job said, “I have made a covenant with my eyes…” — Job 31:1.

He made a decision before the temptation came.

That’s what convictions do. They create boundaries before we’re faced with the choice. They help us say, “I may have the freedom to do this, but I’ve decided I won’t.”

Not because we’re trying to impress people.
Not because it makes us better than anyone else.
But because we want to be faithful to the Lord.

We can make our plans, set our goals, and picture how we think life should unfold but ultimately, we want God directing every step.

Proverbs 16:9 is a reminder that planning isn’t wrong. The heart can “devise” the way, but our confidence isn’t in having everything figured out.

It’s in trusting the Lord enough to let Him redirect us.

Sometimes His direction looks different than our plan.

Sometimes it means waiting.

Sometimes it means a completely different path.

Make the plans.

Pray over them.

Then trust God with the steps.

“A man’s heart deviseth his way:
but the LORD directeth his steps.”
— Proverbs 16:9 KJV
