SHUNOYO PERUNNAL 2026 | DAY 2, Part II
A never-ending ocean of blessings was poured out upon the St. Mary’s Lynbrook family and upon all those who traveled from near and far to celebrate our Shunoyo Perunnal — the Feast of the Dormition and Assumption of St. Mary, the Mother of God.

What a sacred, historic, and unforgettable day it was.

We were blessed beyond measure by the presence of His Beatitude Mor Baselios Joseph, Catholicose of India and Malankara Metropolitan, together with our beloved His Eminence Mor Titus Yeldho, Archbishop and Patriarchal Vicar. Their presence, prayers, and fatherly blessings brought tremendous joy to our parish family.

And then came a blessing almost beyond words—the privilege of receiving and venerating the Holy Relics of St. Mary’s Zunooro (Girdle). To have this precious witness to the Mother of God in our midst, on her blessed feast, was a moment that will remain forever in the history and heart of St. Mary’s Lynbrook.

Perhaps one of the most beautiful sights of the day was the sea of faithful who came together in prayer. Through the large crowds and long lines, our people waited with extraordinary patience, reverence, and devotion—young and old alike—desiring simply to receive a blessing and spend a few moments in the presence of the Holy Relics.

Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.

To Bava Thirumeni, our Beloved Theethose Thirumeni, clergy, Board of Trustees, faithful, volunteers, and every guest who came from near and far: thank you for making this Shunoyo Perunnal a celebration we will never forget.

May the prayers and intercession of St. Mary, Yoldath Aloho—the Mother of God, continue to cover our families, our parish, and our Holy Church.

“Generations will call me blessed.” — St. Luke 1:48

St. Mary, Mother of God, pray for us. May her prayers be a fortress around us always.

St Mary’s Lynbrook Blood Drive | 2026
Thank God for another major milestone for the St Mary’s Lynbrook Family! While the act of blood donation itself is life-saving and deeply meaningful, what stood out just as much was the spirit of unity, love, and service that brought us all together. This would not have been possible without the dedication and heart of so many. Our sincere gratitude to our amazing Board of Trustees, the St Mary’s Donor Team, our organizers, and especially our youth who stepped up and led with such enthusiasm and commitment.

We are equally grateful to all of our volunteers, our Medical Team, and most importantly, our wonderful donors—who came forward with joy and generosity to give the gift of life.

Your efforts do not go unnoticed. Thank you for making this a truly blessed and impactful day. We look forward to continuing this mission together!
