The Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary in Lynbrook turned music and laughter into support for a local cause during a dueling pianos fundraiser on Aug. 8 benefiting the Lindsey Rose Parke Foundation.

The foundation honors Lindsey Rose Parke, a 19-year-old Levittown firefighter who died in January after the vehicle in which she was a passenger crashed on Old Country Road. The fundraiser gave the Ladies Auxiliary an opportunity to support the foundation with a donation while bringing community members together for an evening of entertainment.

Congratulations to the newly installed officers of Knights of Columbus St. Mary’s/ Maris Stella Council 2228! We are proud to welcome this new leadership team and look forward to all they will accomplish in the year ahead.

Being an officer of the Knights of Columbus is both an honor and a responsibility. Our officers dedicate their time, energy, and talents to serving the Council, supporting our parish and community, helping those in need, and continuing the mission and traditions of the Knights.

None of this would be possible without the incredible support of the House and our Knights families. The strength of our Council comes from the members who volunteer, the families who stand behind them, and the loved ones who understand the time and commitment that goes into serving others.

To our new officers: thank you for stepping up to lead. May you have a successful and rewarding year filled with fellowship, service, and faith.
