Church Family,

This Sunday we begin a brand-new sermon series through the book of Ruth entitled, From Ruin to Redemption.

Following our recent journey through Habakkuk and learning to trust God in seasons of silence, Ruth now invites us into a deeply personal story of loss, faith, suffering, loyalty, providence and redemption. Set during one of the darkest periods in Israel’s history, this remarkable book reminds us that even when life feels broken, bitter or uncertain, God is still sovereignly at work writing a greater story.

Throughout this series, we’ll walk alongside Naomi, Ruth and Boaz and discover how their story ultimately points us to our greater Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Ruth is a story for anyone who has ever wrestled with grief, wondered where God is in difficult seasons, longed for hope, or needed the reminder that God is never finished with His people.

We’d love for you to join us this Sunday as we begin in Ruth 1:1–22 with a message entitled: “When God Seems Far Away." Invite someone to come with you as we journey together from ruin to redemption.

There are seasons in life when God feels quiet. Prayers seem to echo. Answers feel delayed. And we’re left wondering what God is doing or if He’s working at all.

Beginning Sunday, April 12, we’ll walk together through a new sermon series in the book of Habakkuk titled “God in the Silence.” This short but powerful book gives voice to questions many of us have wrestled with: Why does God allow injustice? Where is He in the waiting? Can we trust Him when we don’t understand what He’s doing?

Habakkuk is a conversation between a confused prophet and a faithful God, and what we discover is that even when God seems silent, He is never absent. He is always at work, always faithful, and always worthy of our trust.

This series will help us learn how to:

Bring honest questions to God without fear.
Trust His character when His ways are unclear.
Wait with faith in seasons of uncertainty.
Rejoice in Him, even before the answers come.
I believe this will be a timely word for our church family. One that will strengthen our faith and deepen our trust in the Lord.

Make plans to join us starting April 12, and invite someone who may be walking through a season of waiting or wondering.

Let’s lean in together and discover how to trust God, even in the silence.

Join us this Sunday for a powerful reminder that death and sin do not win!
