Pray for our Synod and those who serve her. The Lord has abundantly blessed us and will continue to distribute His gifts. Ask God to give wisdom and faithfulness to all.

This week, you are invited to pray for the Synod presidential election, especially for the electors, who are preparing for the first round of voting.

In place of a collect, consider praying and meditating on the following verses:

Walk about Zion, go around her,
number her towers,
consider well her ramparts,
go through her citadels,
that you may tell the next generation
that this is God,
our God forever and ever.
He will guide us forever. (Psalm 48:12–14)
