NEW!! The Young at Heart Group is going to add a second meeting each month. This will be a time to eat snacks and desserts together and have a program. The first meeting will be Wednesday, March 15 at 1:00 pm. Peggy Hendricks will put on a musical program. Mark your calendars for the third Wednesday each month for these programs. As always, Senior bingo is the fourth Tuesday of the month at 1:00 pm. Both are in the Fellowship Hall of the church.

On March 8, we will start a new Bible Study that will take place on Wednesdays at 10 am in the Youth Room (room 303). We will study 'The Chosen'. This is a dramatized depiction of the life of Jesus and those around him. We'll have a discussion time following the video. The study will be done by 11:00 am. The study will be lead by Pastor Mark.

This upcoming Sunday, February 26 will be our first ‘Lenten Luncheon’. A simple lunch of soup and bread will be served after the 10:30 am service at approximately 12 noon.
Everyone is welcome.
Reminder: The ‘Lenten Luncheons’ will be every Sunday at noon during Lent.

Wednesday, February 22 is Ash Wednesday. We will have our Ash Wednesday Service in the sanctuary at 7 pm. The focus of the service is repentance and remembering our mortality. The service ends with burning the palms from the previous Palm Sunday and applying them to the forehead in the shape of a cross. This service is designed to prepare our hearts for the journey to Easter. It’s hard to truly celebrate Jesus’ Resurrection without journeying through Lent and preparing ourselves spiritually.
